Default Are ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel zero balanced?

I noticed you purchase the flywheel and the clutch assembly separately so I assume they have to be zero balanced as they are not sold in a kit and or marked to be bolted on any certain way. I see the flywheel has a blue stripe on the side where the starter ring is and the pressure plate has a bunch of purple markings but nothing indicating that it should be clocked any certain way. Anyone have any input on this?? Is this something that should be balanced together? If I recall my last one wasn't balanced.

Thanks
Dave

You'll have better luck in the Manual Trans section. If I'm not mistaken there is a thread about this right now

ls1's are internally balanced so you dont need to worry about lining it up. Older cars like fox body mustangs are externally balanced so that is when you need to make sure the pp and fly are balanced together

just bolt it up!! the pressure plate has holes in it for the dow pins to go. the dow pins are on the flywheel. it's goof proof
