Guys here's a few pics of the all new Precision Race Components cathedral port cylinder heads. Sorry for there being so few pics, but I'll hold most the pics & specs for when the final version is completed.
We're currently working on several different versions of the heads but past that I can't really give any additional information.
Here's what I can tell you:
.800" thick deck!!
Modified Valve Angles
Better Than Stock p/v on some port configurations!
Multiple Port Options
Multiple Chamber Options
6 Bolt Upgraded!!
356-T6 Aluminum Casting
Designed & Built completely to our specs!
We're currently testing various versions of these cylinder heads on several different applications.
Sorry I can't give any additional information currently.
All I can say is I think you guys will really like the flow/features/pricing of this cylinder head!
*these things are made in America!!

Hmmm aftermarket vs. stock ported GM. All the time and r&d $ to make a head worse than what they have? Isn't it quite obvious?
To answer the question earlier, when you port a factory head, you are forced to work within the constraints of how GM designed the head. With an all new cast head, you can start with a 'clean sheet' if you want to call it that, and add material where you want it but with a factory head it's more difficult to do. Like the original post said, they plan to change the valve angle as well, which helps with piston to valve clearance as well as flow characterisitcs.
