I've seen stock cam ls1 run in the 12's all day.

Lol....on Nitto tires w/ STOCK suspension, and a puny 3400 stall. It's also a full weight car and I weigh about 300lbs. Just because my tag says I'm in the 12 sec club, doesn't mean I still am. Btw, temperature that night was about 65 or so on that run.

i love that cam i daily drove mine for 4-5 months then i got a beater just because i got tired of not so good gas mileage and didnt like putting alotta miles on my SS. the cam made 43x hp and 40x trq with all bolt ons, ported tb and ls6 intake also had 4.10 gears in the 10 bolt. it has alot of power and will like however much nitrous you wanna throw at it. i think youll like it but what are your goals for the car? what do you plan on doing with it?

Thats whats wrong with the racing world today, to many people with more money then brains. The LS7 also has 1.8 rockers, is the .649 lift of the MS4 with 1.8 rockers? I think not. The LS7 cam specs at .211/.230 .591 lift with 1.8 rockers. So how mild would that cam be in a LS7 again?

nope, its the stock ls6 intake, slp long tubes, and ls6 heads. We run it up to 7000 and it dropped from there. Oh and for the more money than brains, i done all the work to my car myself with the exception of the tuning which vengeance racing did, and i'm a firefighter so obviously i don't have a lot of money. I work a second job to be able to afford to do stuff to the car, mr. I work for a very large corporation training many mechanics all over north america. Wonder who makes more money, fire fighter or mr. big shot??? Oh and since the ls7 has 1.8 rockers..... i believe you can change rockers to whatevery ratio you would like, correct me if i'm wrong. so why would the cam not work, just swap the 1.8's to 1.7's and there you go.

why would you bring back a year old thread? no offense but you should try the search button it works wonders. Your question is to broad and sounds like you have a lot of reading to do before you even think about a cam swap. Also springs come as a set anyway you dont just buy them separately, along with that is retainers and valve seats.

I have a 2001 z28 A4 and have been looking at the ms4 and ms3 a lot I love the way it sounds it sick. Don't really mind bucking as long as its not too much like something that air cause me to wreck but my car is completely stock right now any any help on what I should do b4 I get this cam. I know ima get ls7 littered and ls2 litter trays and ls2 double roller timing chain and tune but don't know about springs and other stuff like rollers. Are my stock rollers fine to use with this cam. Also i plain on dub frame connecters and lt headers from hooker or pacesetter. Should I do a cat back from magna flow or what really want true duals with h pipe and no cats... Any help with this would be awsome just don't want to make a bad move ya know thanks in advance guys

I don't mind dockey dick cams.

I just mind folks putting LSK lobes in a street car. You will beat the **** out of your valvetrain. Lifters, valvesprings, valve tips, pushrods, rocker arms. Something is going to fail or wear out due to valve loft from such irresponsible lobes.

Stay the **** away from LSK lobes unless it's a drag car or you're going to invest in a very stout valvetrain (CHE or Jesel rockers, Morel lifters, 3/8" pushrods, hollow-stem valves, etc) and check it every 5-7k miles.
