Default What parts/cost needed to go solid roller??

My 422 buildup is getting closer to being done and after seeing some of the big 346 solid roller numbers I was curious what all would be needed to go solid roller. I know the cam and lifters but what else. How hard is it adjusting the valves? How much extra would it be do go solid?

cam
lifters
heads need to be machined more (pushrod holes must be enlarged, maybe some other stuff?)
very beefy valve springs
adjustable rocker arms
taller valve covers or valve cover spacers

That's all I can remember off hand, maybe someone else will chime in and hit the rest of the stuff.

Not sure on all the techno stuff concerning all parts, but as i researched this extensively for my 427 motor figure about an extra 2,500 to 3K. I say GO FOR IT, especially since it will probably shave about .4 or .5 off of your 1/4 mile ets. A 422 solid roller LS1 with aggressive specs. and awesome heads would not doubt be TOP DOG!

Also you would have to have a custom Ti Valve to lighten up your valvetrain and these babies are not cheap!!! The lighter the valvetrain is the better!!!

why do the heads have to be milled? and why do the pushrod holes have to be enlarged?

if i use the crane rockers would i still need a valve cover spacer ( they fit great now)?
