*emergency* head gasket ?
*emergency* head gasket ? 02 z28, spent all winter at a collision shop getting a rear end accident fixed.
finally got it back(but it has to go back, shitty job)
they short drove it almost every day, out of shop, into shop every day for @ 2+ months. oil was moisture filled.
sat in my garage so i decided to through on a k-member, poly mounts,and new exhaust headers to tips.
i started twice to make sure all is well, just let it idle for 10 plus and shut down. after the second shut down though i hear a gurgling sound. i find it bubbling on the passenger side between the two center cylinders at the intake manifold and head. i imediately work the radiator cap off slowly and get my pressure tester on there. the cooling system holds fine up to 18, 20 psi. no gurgling or leaks.
my ? is could it be trapped moisture under the intake or is that to optimistic?

That's a head gasket between two cylinders with no cooling jacket interference. Just because you blow a headgasket doesent mean the cooling system will be affected. Do a Compression test to be sure.
