Ok guys heres my problem i wanna do a engine build on the side will my car is still a DD. Its a 99 z28 with bolt ons. i have a chance to pick up a 6.0 iron block for $150 but i have no clue whats involed since the block is bare what kind of interchange do the iron 6.0 and my ls1 have. such as timing cover, oil pan, heads, intake Valley cover. please let me know i did try doing multiple searchs but not much was found on the swap itself.

so is there anything else i should know before i attempt this swap? any thang im going to have to have that is diffrent the my ls1? what about any wiring diffrences?

 

ur gonna want to put a larger cam in there for the bigger cubes and you need to take the time and build it right. Don't just drop it in without checking everything.
