98 LS1 350 Engine Parts Hey All! Here's a reply I got back from the mechanic that is going to rebuild my engine. I'd like to look for some prices on parts as well. Can anyone help me out?
"I have your engine apart,a lot of the parts are not in very good shape. The crank is ruined as well as two rods pistons, time chain, cam bearings oil pump, and lifter. Your cylinder heads seem fine but I have to take them apart to check the valves. The good news is that the engine can be rebuilt and will be like new. I have to check on prices for the engine and I have to see if I have a crank shaft thats the same as yours. I will get back to you as soon as possible."
