Do I need a retune after swapping heads?
I swapped my stock 243's for ported 243's, no other changes. The car was dyno tuned by Vengeance with the other mods so I don't know if I'll need a new tune or if I can wait till I do a Fast 90/90 then retune?

I would say it needs to be touched up, but I think it would be OK until the 90/90. I re-did my exhaust and didnt have it tuned for a year or so until my cam and springs were done.

Yeah Vengeance has free retunes, just pay $150 for dynotime, but it's over 2 hours away and I hate to do that then get the new intake and have to go back again, lol.

If you dont go on long drives you should be ok though I would advoc ate you get a retune asap. If you get on the highway or run to many consecutive minutes the atoms in your catalytic converters will start getting murdered, melting and taking new form as they have to oxidize to much hydrocarbons from a flawed tune and thatll creat back pressure and power loss when you do get it tuned right. I know when I was like 16 I had my tune a little off on a v6 and I went on a bit of a road trip and my cat was just done for after about 400 miles and it cost a tone to replace.

I would wait. If the 90/90 is coming soon it is not worth driving 2 hrs. for something that yhou really won't feel. Do it when you get the 90/90, you definately will feel the benefits of those ported heads.
