Need new shortblock, have questions
Here's my sob story. Had H/C installed a few weeks ago, car was putting about 100 HP less than expected down on the dyno. Leak down test showed #3 clyinder is dead. Not sure if it's a seal or a crack or what, but planning on just purchasing a short block and going from there. I have a T-rex cam, Patriot Performance S2 heads, Fast 90, etc... that I want to use with my new set up. If I'm going to replace it, I plan to go with a bigger ci short block.
1. Looking at TSP's web site, what exactly is the difference between a rotating assembly and their stroker short block kits? There seems to be a substantial difference in price between the 2 and I'm not exactly sure what the hell I need.
2. Based on my above listed mods, also listed in signature, is there a certain ci short block that would work best for my combination?
