CAM PTVC need imput on my cam Hey installing a cam in my 370 motor with -2cc valves and using patriot heads stage 3s.
cam is 240 252 629 lift with a 113 lobe do you guys think this cam will work fine for clearance.

Think about this for a minute.
A bunch of people say yes, so you throw it together.
Then 200 miles later you break a valve head off and ruin both heads (**** will go through the intake) all the pistons, a few rods, the block and maybe even the crank.
Are all those parts worth taking someones word vs actually checking?
Do you check bearing clearances, piston to wall clearance, ring end gap. Or do you just slap it together and hope for the best. PTV clearance is just like bearing clearance, you can't ask someone over the internet if yours will be ok.
