Default I need Help Picking a CAM.

I'm looking into the whole cam thing....I'll probably have raging Randy at Raging Motorsports put it in for me... But I dont Know What to get. What cam gives the most power through the entire rpm range...I know I will need new Springs and it will be smart to get some new pushrods at the same time. I will also Have tuning done if necessary...

So What Cam Will give me the most power????
and not just peak HP....I want power through the whole RPM range.
OH.....and It has to be daily Driveable....dont want it dyin on me while I'm sitting at a stop light....dont wanna look like a dumbass...

Look Below for the current bolt-ons.

Sounds like ~ 224 is a good starting point.

Are you going to do heads?

TR224 on a 112 LSA for M6 and 114 LSA for A4

I also like the Comp Cams 224 XE-R aka C2 which is similar to what I have.

I think the tuning is well worth getting.

Also be sure and do a search on this topic there is lot's of info out there.

Also this is a good primer on cam selecton:

See my sig for rest of details. Will probably run it for the first time this weekend in Wichita. Will post details later.

Some Saturday I would be willing to meet you at Mark's.

You can listen to mine idle. Mark spent a lot of time with LSEdit and dynotuning on mine. There are also a lot of other cars you can listen to there. It's a meeting place at least one Saturday every month at RMS.

Mine lopes enough and idles pretty good. I would never want to go with more cam, unless I wanted to strictly race.

Mine with the Borla wide open (no plates), sounds just like a Nascar car. That's mean enough for me.
