I don't have 'before' numbers, but my mostly stock '01 LS1, with a lid, SLP Y-pipe, cat-back and a '02 ZO6 cam and yellow springs dyno'd 332 RWHP and 346 RWTQ
I wanted GM reliability, and emissions-legal. I got the cam cheap, so did it- My '01 already has the LS6 intake- no complaints- if I was going to get it cheap, why not, but, if I was spending money, I would probably go for more cam-

My *** dyno was very happy with the swap. If you are getting it free and there is no extra charge for labor go for it, you wont regret it.....just want something a little bigger down the road. But sounds like the perfect cam right now. Cam, spring, and LS6 intake gave me 47 hp 54tq

Thats what I'm talkin about right there those numbers are perfect alot of those race cars out there with big cams ends up spending a lot of money on suspension, tires, and a tune thats to much to say a '07 vette will still bust his butt or come close to it.
