So pretty much with the Z06 cam all you need is new springs? Thats all your really NEED, but you could see better numbers with more mods/cam supporting.

I wanted GM reliability, and emissions-legal. I got the cam cheap, so did it- My '01 already has the LS6 intake- no complaints- if I was going to get it cheap, why not, but, if I was spending money, I would probably go for more cam-
So how much did the cam give you alone?

My *** dyno was very happy with the swap. If you are getting it free and there is no extra charge for labor go for it, you wont regret it.....just want something a little bigger down the road. But sounds like the perfect cam right now. Cam, spring, and LS6 intake gave me 47 hp 54tq

ls6 cam is barely noticeable till u get on it,
u will need the yellow vs, they go for less than 100$ new
if u are getting the heads and cam upgrade, it will put out about the same as a ls6 motor, 405hp, make sure u get the pushrods too

Thats what I'm talkin about right there those numbers are perfect alot of those race cars out there with big cams ends up spending a lot of money on suspension, tires, and a tune thats to much to say a '07 vette will still bust his butt or come close to it.

about 2-3 degrees duration for intake and exhaust and increase lift to about .583 lift,
valve will open slightly faster than stock,
stock lift is .550 for ls6 cam
