Which is faster a bone stock SS Camaro are a Ws6 both are 2001?

hi, at home i hav a mag article from probably 2000 or 2001 that says the trans am is 42 pounds heavier on the nose. but it could reach higher top end mph. it maybe was 1 tenth slower in the mag tests. obviously a driver could make up the diff. they are both awesome cars!

i would vote on the ss with a z28 hood, when i did my swap from a z28 hood to a carbon fiber ss hood.. though it only weighs 22 lbs the ram air is wind resistance, which cost me about a tenth at the track

I think red cars are the fastest. Mine is black and I always get beat up on by the red ones

The WS6 is the heaviest of all fbodies because of the suspension upgrades. Not to mention those upgrades make the suspension stiffer which makes it harder to launch 1/4 mile, so your theory is null.
Any of them had the option of a power steering cooler, even the Z28 came with a power steering cooler, I will gladly take you a picture of several that have it if you like. They ARE the same car, and the better driver wins, period. Owners on both sides like to glorify their car as better for different reasons but in reality you are simply equal with your rival counterparts. It's the same car

So you have two different cars modded in different ways and you are trying to base a comparison on that?
They are the same car, period. Being closed minded does not change that.
I must add that unless you put them in, the WS6 doesn't have 3.42s. If you have a stall and it has never fishtailed you are either lying or there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the T/A

Well why when I put nitto's on my ss THAT THING still fish tailed with 3.23's and I was gonna put 3.73 .My ws6 have 3.42's I have TCI Tranny with Tci 3200 stall and the ws6 hooks better This car never fished tailed on my yet the SS wouldn't even catch 1st gear and it ONLY HAD HEADERS ON IT WITH HOOKER EXHUAST CAMARO SS IS GARBAGE I will always be a ws6 fan because 40lbs is better if it make me leave the line .
Its the same car. Your making yourself look retarded.

Well like i said I didn't have no 1st gear with the ss it hooks up in 2nd gear ever gotdam time and who ever i race alway win .

P.s I also read an article where Chevy was going to improve the suspesion on the Camaro on the 2009 thats how I know I had problems with mines that wasn't my fault.

you made it sound like, because they revised it, that the 4th gen suspension was "defective" or something. Basically, a camaro ss and a trans am ws6 of the same year with the same tranny is going to be equal unless they happen to be factory freaks.
