Aside from the peak numbers you all have mentioned, I am sure you're torque curves are nothing less than awesome. I've been throwing around the idea of a KB 383 LS1, as my TR224 with stock LS2 243s is getting "boring". Unsure of the quench and stroke issues under boost and such as no one has really ran a KB 383ci on a LS1.

My 383 made 490/445rw in the end with not so great heads and a 244/248 114+4 cam. The cam was not specd well for the motor either. Hense the soft tq curve. The only bolt ons I didn't have were RR's and EWP. With 478/435 the car ran 10.8's@130 at full weight in street trim with a 1.65 60ft on DR's. That was at about +500 DA. I am sure if I would have kept my AFR 205's I would have been easily over 500, add in RR's and EWP and I would have been at 515/470rw with out much trouble. With more practice and some tires I would have ran 10.50's@133 or so on my final tune. You can't go wrong with Tony's heads or advice. Just follow his plans and you should have a stout motor.
