i having been tracking down the reasoning behind the high idle on my car for awhile now. needlesss to say it is really ticking me off. first thing i did was take off the Maf and tb cleaning both and reinstalling... did nothing. next i replaced the tps...nothing. i have looked for vacuum leaks and once again nothing. the only way i can get it to stop is to shut the car off pop the hood and crack the throttle blade manually about 4 or 5 times and then restart the car... poof magic idles at 800 rpm. i am at the end of my rope anyone have a suggestion for me as this is really pissing me off. thanks.

 

Have you tried to back off the throttle screw? Could the blade be binding?
