02 and up ls6 cam id numbers? How can you tell if its an 01 or 02 and up ls6 cam? Ive got an ls6 cam here with the numbers 5308 s17 4141 on the end of it. Just want to make sure its the 550 lift cam.

Ill give that a try. Ive also got a set of solid blue valve springs that came with the ls1 hot cam kit part number 12565117. I read that these are the springs that came in the 01 ls6 and are only good up to a 525 lift cam? Or will these be ok for the 02 ls6 cam?
