Default Oil pick tube. How do I clean it?

I spun a bearing and I am putting the motor back together. The oil pump is fine and didn't have any metal in it when I took it apart and cleaned it. I do however have a few metal shaving stuck in the screen on the oil pick up tube. Is there anyway to clean this or do I have to buy a new one?

Thanks

Take a wire brush and some kind of parts cleaner and high air pressure to blow it out.
