need opinions for cam mods are in sig i like to use the juice so i need a cam that will take the juice but i would like a good power making cam but i will putting close to 30 miles on the car everyday so i need an everyday driver cam that actually makes power also do not have a stall yet but planning on getting one between 2500 and 3000 thoughts and opinions would be helpful thanks all

Re: need opions for cam get a stall 1st, u'll be surprised at how much it wakes up the car... with the 3.73's, get 1 with about a 2.0 str, maybe around 3200 or so... for a cam, if u want stock like, try the LS6 cam, or maybe the comp 212/218-.558/.563-115... anything bigger will need tuning with the A4... nice car for an 18yo by the way... also, maybe u can try to find some periods to make sentences, it makes it alot easier to read and understand...

Re: need opions for cam Ditto get a converter first, Just make sure you get the right one for your future mods to.My choice for the money would be either midwest or tcs or tci, I wouldnt buy anything less than a 3500 myself.
Re: need opions for cam With 3.73s and a 'verter, you'll never hook at the track without DOT slicks. If you still had 3.23s, I'd get the Yank SS3600. I personally wouldnt get a cam any smaller than a 216/216 on XE lobes. No sense getting those old comp grinds when new ones idle better and make more power. Don't make the mistake I did and have to change cams 3 times

Re: need opions for cam hey thanks guys but tires aint a problem but my parents bought me the car i had a 68 chevy truck showed out. but started cutting off on me but i do pay taxes insurance and all the stuff i do to it so im not totally spoiled didnt even ask for it dad just brought it home hes had a couple vettes. but definitely thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming.

Re: need opions for cam str is basically how hard the converter hits... if u had 2.73's, u'd want a high one (2.5-3.0), if u put a 2.0 with 2.73's, it would be real loose, but since u have 3.73's, a high str will break the tires loose very easily, so u can go with a lower one to help with traction... y DID u change the gears, anyway?

Re: need opions for cam ha that is definitely the cam i need. i think as long as i leave everything else factory on the drivetrain it would work fine haha j/k. to answer the other question i changed the gears cause i thought it would help out cause i though i had a 3:23 turns out i got a 3:42 but i noticed with those gears it realy gets that speedometer moving so i think it woke the car up a little

Re: need opions for cam no i thought the 6 speeds had 3:42 and the a4 had 3:23 that is why i changed and since i didnt find out til the rear was apart and already paying why not go ahead and swap them but i still have the 3:42 in a box
