smog legal CAM w/o egr for a 99' i have a 99 z/28 and rcently purchased an LS6 with no EGR. I live in CALI so i need to SMOG. I heard that the 01' - 02' f bodys dnt have an EGR and its ok because of the lightened CAM.
Im wondering if there is an aftermarket CAM that will give me considerable HP gains and make it so that i can DELETE the EGR and still pass smog.
THis is killing me i got a good deal on an LS6 and dont want to have to sell it!

if the emissions tech is knowledgable...he'll realize or at least check for the EGR setup.
so regardless of the cam....you'll fail
guys have gone as high as the 224 cam and still passed the smog test

so pretty much its just a visual test? it has nothing to do with what is coming out of the exaust? it wont fail because the egr isnt 'recirculating' exaust or anything like that?
can you give me a P/N on that 224 cam? make?
