My friend has bent a couple of valves in the stock heads and is on a budget, so we got some used 5.3 truck heads, and we are puting in bigger intake valves and maybe a little more work, porting miling etc... i was wondering what kinda power he mabe could gain by doing a mild port job, and miling them .010 and would he have to worry about fly cutting the pistons later if he put about a 600 lift cam in?

Duration will play a large part on that setup as far as clearing the piston. Power will depend on the port job and valves put in. Good luck!
