1998-2002 V8 model Camaro/Firebird gear ratios were as follows:
M6 = 3.42
A4 = 2.73 standard, 3.23 optional
Camaro SS (1998-2002):
M6 = 3.42
A4 = 3.23

Not that I feel the need to share this information with you, but for the rest of you guys, we did a gear swap to 3.73's on his a4 and it turned out he had 3.42's in them. Now whether it came stock or done by the previous owner, thats what was in his (what seamed to be stock) camaro SS.
