im sure it will have the same issues as all GEN IV stuff has. im sure someone will figure it out. however, dont count on the blower/intercooler setup fitting under the stock hood/cowl.

just have to wait for TSP or Thunder Racing to get their hands on one of the blower setups.

i was told by a tech friend you can order the stock blower, it lists as 6k but he said he can get it for 3k. not sure if itll bolt up to ls3 or ls7 style heads (which ever are stock on the ls9 obviously). the tvs2300 blower is only 11mm taller than the 1.9l maggie (m112) so with a little extra cutting id bet money it would fit under the cowl.

I doubt it, considering the ls9 has the l92-style heads and they cant be used with anything under a 4 in. bore and are different port shapes.

doesnt the L92 use the same style intake as the LS2? cause i know LS2 intakes can be used on an LS1, with a little modification to small areas. so if you can use the LS2 intake on an LS1, wouldnt you be able to use the LS9 stuff as well?

Nope. L92 heads have rectangle intake ports, while LS1/2/6 have cathedral ports. Currently the only intake(s) that work on L92's are the factory composite L76/LS3 and the aluminum carb style...........supposedly FAST is working on an L92 style intake.

I know there is more to the blower on the Ls9, mainly the new three lobe design which is supposedly the most efficient blower set up to date. It will be available commercially, and more than likely the Ls9 will be available through GM just like the ls7 was. That transmission would also be a good idea geared for 210+ MPH and hardened. There is a lot of really cool stuff going into the Zr1...

no they aren't, the ls6 and ls2 both used ls6 heads whicho course are catherdral ports. the l92/l76/ls7/3 stuff is all rectangular ports.
