Default Will I need to flycut?? help me out please

I am hearing different stories here, TEA said this will work but I just want to be sure. I am getting some TEA stage 2 LS6 heads milled to 61cc and I will be using stock MLS head gaskets, the heads have a 2.04 I valve and a 1.57 E valve, the valve drop AFTER milling will be around a .120on the intake, TEA said I will NOT have to flycut, what do you guys think, I want to be 100% sure as I do NOT want to flycut??

I can't seem to find you notes but from memory my drop was 0.145 in the intake just to provide more information from my PM.

Have you already ordered the heads?

Yea they are starting on them tomorrow. They even said a 60cc would be safe but I went 61 instead.

Well, if they put it in writing, and it doesn't work out, it's on them. I'm not trying to bash on TEA, but if they say you're good, then you should be good.

Are you using stock gaskets? Check the PTV and if it is bad you will need to discuss with TEA at that point. Brian is pretty sharp at this stuff so hopefully you are OK. The only question I would have is the statement "will clear" means different things to different people. To me, its 0.080" intake and 0.100" exhaust.

How much are your heads milled? His cam is bigger than yours and on a 112, which leads me to believe he will be below minimums which is what I told the OP in my PM.
