Default how are 250cc intake runners????

I have a stock bottom end motor I told Dart that I wanted their heads CNC'd as I hear that they are good as cast but insane ported, anyways I told them my entire setup gave them my cam specs 233/238 .599/.599 on 112+4 and they said they would make great power and work well with my setup I trust them 100% im just wondering what a 250cc intake runner will do on a stock cubed motor

the heads I am getting are dart 225's 63cc chambers cncd to a 250cc intake runner if that helps

Say bye bye to any power below 4k rpm, 225cc runner IMHO is the limit for a H/C 346

Not nearly as good as what a 205cc or 215cc head would do.

those heads are for a 4 inch bore so you know. I have these but they are on a 370 with a good sized cam (track car). Anyways dont listen to all the cc runner size crap here on the board. Most of it is all information from people that dont know anything.

Theres a lot more to a head then cc and flow numbers. but anyways for a stock 3.9 inch bore i think this would be too much just becuase they do open those chambers for a 4 inch bore and run a 2.08 valve. unless they have revised it for a 3.9 bore which i dont know about.

Well, the GMPP LS6 heads have a 250cc runner and have great flow #'s! Do a google search for "88958622 LS6 heads" and you can check out the specs and flow #'s posted on the different sites. I think no one buys these because they are so expensive for a stock casting head.
-Anyways, the point is that a 250cc runner will work just fine as long as its meant for a 3.9 bore and is a match to your cam. Just my .02 though
Good luck, post up your results when you get them!

They should work good all around if Dart has a head for your stock bore.
