Default timing chain noise

i have this rattling nosie in the front of my engine, i think it is the timing chain. i have read that the stock ls1 timing tend to get slack in them. i just what to know is it worth changing and if some what is the best chain to replace it with.

Did you recenctly do a cam swap? Maybe your camshaft bolts or camshaft retainer bolts backed out. LS2 chain is a good replacement chain.
