Default want to go 6.0 in my ws6

im looking to put...

a lq9 block with all fbody accessories
ms4 cam or big custom
with l92 heads and l76 intake

my questions' are:

can i use stock lifters, rod bolts etc...

do i need to change the cam sprocket and reluctor wheel? do i need to relocate the knock sensors?

what all modifications need to be done to make this work!

In the order you asked.

yes all ls1 stuff will swap over.
no the 6,0 iron block is the same as the ls1.
You need to drill and tap one of the bolt holes for the alternator bracket.
yes you need to check PTV the same as the l92.

Nope....everything is the same. You'll want a 2001 or newer 6.0 liter. The older ones had a thicker rear flange on the crankshaft that will only work with a 4l80e transmission (won't work w/t56 or 4l60e). I'm doing a similar 6 liter swap this winter.

i suggest against the ms4 and l92's, I havent seen very good numbers with that combo. I would get a custom cam specked out

L92s work better with different cam specs than the cathedral port LS1/2 heads. Theres no way a MS4 would clear with the huge L92 vavles anyway.

I'm going with cathedral port heads and a 24x/24x cam for my 370....then at least you get a few decent choices for an intake.

stock l92 engines are equipped with flat top pistons and valve reliefs as stock
the thick flange 6.0 cranks will work with th350/th400/700r4 transmissions
with 6.0 flexplate.
no lq9's were available with thick flange cranks, those cranks were only available in lq4 engines in 99-00
the reluctor, crank, cam sensors are the same for ls1 and lq9,lq4 engines
