Default Lightweight rods?

Ok, who has some of the lightest, yet not astronomicly priced rods for LS1's out there. I've looked at Dyers, Oliver, HRC and a few other companies and the lightest I can find is over 640g. I could swear up and down that Howards had "ultra-lite" forged rods for LS1's that were right at or just under 600g. Can anyone confirm that the big-end offset of the rods is the same as a Gen 1 SBC? Can I use SBC rods as long as its 6.125" length with a 2.100" big end and .927" wristpin?

I've got a friend that wants me to put together a motor for his RX7 that will make, at most 500ish whp. Since it will never be turboed or sprayed I might as well optimize everything I can in the motor.

Also, what do yall think of this setup before I start wasting someone elses money.

LS6 block/crank
Probably HRC rods (doesn't matter as long as they're light and under $1300)
Diamond pistons (final SCR to be determined after I confirm cam has IVC of 74 degrees ABDC)
TFS 215cc heads
GM GAC cam to start with, then something from Patrick G
1 7/8" headers
Custom slide throttle intake with 8x58mm throttle bodies

Shooting for atleast 480whp at less than 8000 rpm.

I just bought some 6.125" SCAT forged rods for my SBC. They are also listed as being used for the LS1 motor. They weigh just over 600 grams. Hope this helps.
