Default MTI X1 guys come in

Hi, I am looking to cam my 04 goat and don't know which cam to choose yet. I was wondering, does this cam loose any/much low end? How does it pull thru the midrange and up top? What are the numbers ya'll are putting down, both on the dyno and dragstrip? Also, how would this compare to the 224R and 228R from TSP?

Thanks

Oh, and feel free to post your dyno graphs if you have them.

I have one and love it. It's the only cam I've had in my Camaro, but it's damn quick with a big converter like I have. Sounds decent with a free flowing exhaust, which is good for the reverse split cam. Good luck.

Thats the cam I'm considering when it's time to cam my own car. I dont have any expierience with it, but I dont think I've read a negative review of it so that's a good sign. It's very similar to the tr230 and I've only heard good things about that one as well.

Kind of jacking my own thread here, but what all would I need to buy for the cam swap. The car has 46000 miles if that matters.

Oh, and does anyone know how this cam would compare with under the curve power with a TSP224R or a 228R?

I will taking my car to dyno tune it this Wednesday the 16th, so we'll see how close I am to TXZ28LS1. Our cars seem similar, except I'm waay cooler and have a pulley and Vig 3600! Lol I could be screwing my self saying this if I dyno lower than his...

we got almost the same setup! u do have a slightly bigger stall, which might rob a few hp..but either way, its a good street setup.

The corrected SAE numbers were 387-388 I think. When my tuner sends me the dyno sheets I'll post them for everyone to critique. <--spelling?? lol

Viper- Those were just stock 243 casting's correct? I'd like to get a larger exhaust valve if I do get heads to compliment the cam. How much was porting?

My car came with 243's, it gained the 32rwhp after having them ported. I paid $800 for porting, valve job, and assembly.
