NOT just another cam thread....
Is there a mathematical way to determine what the powerband of a cam is (more or less) based on things like the lsa, duration, and advance? For some reason I have the drive to come up with a custom cam spec or two and am trying to figure out how everyone does it... assuming they don't just take some random numbers and slap 'em together...

Intake valve closing point determines power range. For example, cams with an intake closing point of 45 degrees ABDC generally have a 3000-6600 rpm powerband.
