Default Quick ARP head stud question.

When re-using a set of ARP head studs, is it still necessary to tighten, loosen, tighten, etc... I know the procedure is to "pre-stretch" the bolt, but is it needed other than on the initial install?

George I ask Judson the same question and he said no. The studs are where they are going to be. Also make sure the last torque segment is at least 25ft.lb.

Nope, you only have to pre-stretch once. I had mine done by a machine shop with some other stuff to ensure all of the studs stretched the proper amount. Once done, I never have to do it again.
