Default Street sweeper vs. Tsp-Torquer3

I have a 2001 Camaro Z28 M6 with (look @ sig) all boltons except the UD pulley but i will do that with the cam install. The car is a daily driver and will be tuned after cam install... like the title says which of these two would you choose and why?? I have been pulling towards the street sweeper but not to many people here run it.... But the few that have it have had great numbers.

FTI Street Sweeper specs: 236/240 630"/.610" 111 LSA

TSP Torquer3 specs: 231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA

They both look good but I think the T3 is more of a street cam. I made 404rw with cats stock 853 heads. The 511rw is a complete max effort you don't just put that cam and some heads and think you are going to see anything close to 511rw.

So simple And to think I was considering dropping a bundle on a 402 to reach 500rwhp and all i realy need is a $400 cam

^ +1 Its a good cam, but it takes a pretty involved combo to make that much power.

That would be true except the Street Sweeper was out WAY (over a year) before the MS4

If you're trying to imply "borrowed" specs, you might want to point the finger in the other direction!

That's a LOT easier than asking a good cam guy to do a cam for your application. Hey, flipping a coin is even easier and it lets Ma Nature choose between the two cams.

So if the coin landed on edge, would that mean Ma selected "None of the above"?

Lots of votes for the Street Sweeper. Probably my cam of choice between the two, but I think choosing a cam off poll results is a little short sighted.

Ed also has a smaller Street Sweeper 220/224 on a 112 with just shy of 0.600" lift, 396 hp cam only on a Vette we installed it in last summer. Why not contact Ed and talk directly to him, it is his design after all.

Sorry man, but asking LS1Tech public forums isn't the best place for the info you're looking for.
