Default MS3 & PRC 2.5 5.3l 63cc

I know you guys including myself have seen this combo a million times, i am just double checking!!!! I bought the MS3 @112 lsa and the 63cc PRC's used, so they were'nt set up as a combo like TSP wants them to be. ANYONE WHO HAS THIS SETUP, will the PTV clear and work fine since they arent setup together??!!! I get different answers from everyone......even TSP.

No, no chance. Just flycut, it's really not that big of a deal.

I would definitely get it checked then. If TSP is checking then the assumptions are most likely right then. They will most likely fit but if the maker of the combo is saying i don't know, i wouldn't take chances. By the way my heads were made for my combo, valves were recessed for the cam.

You need to have the heads setup correctly by PRC/TSP to run with the MS3. They recess the valves in the heads setup for the MS3 so if that is not done you will definately need to flycut the pistons.

That seems to be what i'm hearing alot. Flycutting isnt an option..... new pistons are tho!!! The motor is apart right now and i was gonna go with -2cc dish pistons since the stockers probably won't clear. I know quality and cheap dont mix one bit, but what is the best bang for your buck for new pistons????

Wiseco 2cc reliefs, use a .040 gasket and it should be a nice combo.
You have to chnage your rods as well.
Otherwise you are limited
