Default Tr 230/224

Hi, I am looking to cam my 2004 GTO. I was wondering, how does this cam compare to the MTI X1? Does it keep the bottom end there, because I don't want a cam that is all top end. ALso, what kind of numbers have these put down on the dyno and at the track? My car is an M6 if that matters.

Thanks

my buddy had that cam in his car and it was badass! it put down 427/394 i think with some prc heads...and it was fast on the street. great bottom end and mid range. im personally a very big fan of that cam. and the drivability its outstanding aswell.

I also have a 2004 LS1 GTO A4 but I'm going with a 230/232 b/c I'm also doing heads/intake/tb/headers/exhaust.

For you that reverse split cam for stock heads are a big + in my book.
Another one of my favs is the 228/228.

i love my X1!! i gained 70rwhp with that cam on stock heads. the X1 and TR230 are both older cams but already proven bad *** cams. i think if your gonna do heads i hear the X1 is slightly a better choice though.
