A final update on my build.....since I've had several Q's about it.

Driving impressions:

Idle: The cam idles pretty decent for a 111LSA w/ .600 lift. Nice lope but not rough. Sounds great through a GMMG w/ LT headers Idle is set at 900RPM.

Driving: Slight surge below 2K RPM. Most noticable in higher gears. Aside from that it is very streetable. No real dead spots. Can feel that the power comes on faster w/ throttle tip-in above 2500RPM, but even off-idle it accelerates nicely at part-throttle.

WOT from a standstill is great. W/ 4.11 gears I can't shift fast enough Usually get the shift by 6500RPM in 1st, 6300 in 2nd...and after that the tach is more controllable. Power is wonderful. Hits hard from the start and doesn't let off....at least not till 6500RPM

From a roll it doesn't have the same surge of power as w/ the STS turbo, but the speedo says it's still flying. It definetly is faster than the STS from a start (the STS was at 5PSI).

Had to dumb the timing down a bit. The higher compression heads aren't digging anything above 24 degrees WOT and it wants as low as 19 degrees in the "torque curve" (4400-4800RPM). This is with outside temps in the mid-90's and IAT's hitting as high as 122. With IAT's under 100, it seems to tolerate more timing, but I've left it conservative for the heat of the day. Still running a 2-bar SD from the turbo days, but the car doesn't seem to care.

Overall, it's very streetable w/ a nice amount of power (feels comparable to the 453RWHP the turbo setup had). Will track test soon. Going out of town.....so will be a couple weeks.

did you ever get that torque arm issue sorted out? i told you to tighten the rear helm all the way to stop the front pivot from pushing forward.
Thanks. Yep, after I adjusted as you described above, torque arm fit perfect.
