alright so i just bought a 99 z28 and it's throwing a ton of codes.

Heres what's done to the car if it helps,
cam ?
hydrolic oil pump ?
drilled and slotted roters
!EGR
!A/C
Long Tube headers
X pipe no cats
cherrybomb dumps

i've got ABS, ASR, Air Bag and the Check Engine. i understand most of them like the ABS, O2 and EGR but not the ASR and Knock

When i hooked up the reader i got the following codes.
P1034
P0327
P0332
P0405
P0418
P0481
they all showed up twice and were O2, EGR, Knock and one other thing i don't remember.

my question is, the guy before me said there was a cam in the car and it is tuned for a procharger, which is no longer on the car. could the cam be making the knock sensors go off or should i be really worried.

 

A large cam might cause the knock sensors to go off. But I would check to make sure the sensor fuse is OK and that the wiring to the knock sensors are in good shape.

Maybe the ABS has been deleted. If not, the ABS has a fuse as well, check it. There are a few things that can make the ABS light come on, among them, unmatched tire size.

You say the EGR is deleted. So perhaps no PCM changes were made to supress that code.

well P0418 is a Relay Air Malfuntion, i have a bone stock 1999 z28 and that code is showing, as well as P0410=Secondary Air Injection Malfuntion.
