H/C thoughts...
H/C thoughts... Well, I'm about to start on a LSX motor build to swap into my 95 Z over the winter and was wondering what you LSx guys thought about the H/C pakcage that Trickflow offers...Here's what My building block is most likely going to be...

going forged internals
The Trick-Flow H/C package with 228/230 cam is pretty much what I was looking to do power wise on motor..(515fwhp rated) motor is going to be topped off with a Fast 90/90 with 200 hit sitting on standby...Now I know I could make alot more power other ways but I'm not looking to build a high HP beast...just a pretty agressive street car that puts some good power to the ground...

The Trickflow heads work really well & will make good power. If your looking for 515 flywheel hp it's pretty easy to get though. We recently did a magazine dyno test for GM High Tech where PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads & MS4 camshaft made 551fwhp with a Fast intake. The Torquer 3 made mid 540s & both combos could be purchased with the fast intake & 92mm throttle body for cheaper than your current option.
Both combos will work well, but you don't have to spend huge money to make 515fwhp IMHO.

Thanks Jason, Been trying to get ahold of the Shortblock 1st, so I havn't really looked around awhole lot for H/C options, just came across the TFS package, Knew it was retty pricey but hell, what's not these days? looks like you just gave me the right link to change my mind a bit on my choice..
