ls6 cam and heads worth the effort on 2k ss ls1? i have 02 ls6 long block, wondering if its worth the effort to swap heds and cam onto my 2k SS ls1, what are the cam specs , comparitively? seems like alot of work. I heard there's special tools to line up front cover or some thing else, i dunno....tia...

Would be even more fun if you pull the heads off of the LS6 and get them ported before doing the swap. You've got a golden chance to take the LS6 engine go thru it or have a pro go thru it and build a killer engine then swap it in.
