new engine suggestions? After a week and a half of phone calls and waiting for insurance adjusters (due to me thinking the word ''corvette'' in the back of the car actually read ''submarine'') (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...982&highlight= )
I now have a check for $8000 to replace the motor.
I want to keep the car NA.
Ive been looking at 402/408 built strokers.
any other suggestions or engine builders for a replacement? my goal is 500 or more rwhp.
(the blown engine had TSP stage 2.5 ported 5.3L heads and a MS3 cam)
