The XPR 5W30 has 5 times the crush strength of any other oil. Combined with great bearings, (King Alecular) which also has incredible crush strength, will make a hell of a bottom end. I am an Amsoil dealer and have had no problems racing sleds and cars with their products. Amsoil is 99% impurity free. It leaves no deposits after the burn. This comes from their head engineer, the son of the owner. Royal Purple is formulated to lubricate and fight friction better as well as not break down under imence stress. When it comes down to it, the choice is yours as we don't have 30 engines to test for thousands of miles to see what works best. I use XPR 5W30 @ 7200rpms with 200HP NX and no problems. Good luck with your choice.

not to highjack the thread or anything but when I purchased my vehicle with 50K on the clock my first oil change was with Mobil 1 5w30. I knew that the mileage was a bit high to start but was curious to what it would do. Well after 2 weeks of running it I lost 2 1/2 qts through the exhaust. Ever since then I switched to castrol gtx conventional. I know that M1 runs a little on the thin side. Ive been thinking about running R/P but what do you guys think about this. Think it will hold it. Ive got 80K on it now. Its been a strong motor. Running 13.2's bone stock and its an A4. dyno'd just a hair over 300rwhp stock. it jsut doesnt like mobil 1.

amsoil in the bike, mobil 1 in the truck. Used the VR1 in my T/A and it always held up very well. Talked with a few oil reps about R/P and none of them recommended it, all had there reasons.
