Default stock 6.0 heads with tr224?

I was just wondering what my car would do on the dyno with stock 6.0 heads and my tr224 vs my stock ls1 heads? And what would they bring my compression down to? Also what about ported 6.0 heads?
Thanks
Tim

talk to Jay from Absolute. he has a kick *** port design for his 6.0 heads. He's got a set of mine in the works right now.

You at least need to have them milled, unless you are planning on using a supercharger. 6ltr heads have the same port design as the LS-6, so they are a good head. Most use them for forced induction for the drop in compression, but like I said, you can mill them to get compression back. Check with a head porter on piston to valve clearences with milling and your cam.

I think the TR-224 could really rock with a good set of ported 6.0 heads. The ~.560 lift should be sweet on the 6.0's. The 6.0 is tailored to midlift flow more than the LS6 head is. The LS6 head will excel at higher lifts.

I called Moreperformance b/c I'm doing a similar setup and they told me .030 would bring me back to stock compression.

can you go more than 0.030 to get some more compression? if so how much is safe?
