Yup, that's your oil pressure sending sensor. You'll need a special sensor socket to remove and attach the new one. It's a 1 1/16" deep socket. I picked one up at NAPA for about $5

i did the same. The new sender was 32 at kragen and the socket was like 4 bucks. You probably left your brake vacum line connected while pulling on the intake?>

LOL we all have done that. You did not lift the vacum line on the back of the intake over the senser.

Now I don't feel like such a lone idiot............
I did it on a sunday night............no parts houses with any such thing.
Oh well, I drove the 'ol El Camino to work the next day, picked up a new part at a local dealer and was running on monday night...........

Good luck,

Richard

I broke mine too! I have to find where the plug went, as I can't seem to find it to plug it back in... Just add that to the writeup as part of the install. Replacement oil pressure sensor for when you break it.
