Default timin chain install

when i installed my timin chain i couldnt get the dots perfectly lined up. i moved the chain over one tooth and the dots were a little out of line. i moved the chain one tooth the over way and its a little off. what gives. will this be ok being a hair off????

Make sure that the dot on the crank is straight up, and the #1 piston is at the top. The dots should line up.

Did you have the dots lined up before you removed the gear?

i didnt look to see if the dots were lined up when i took the chain and gear off. its off a hair.the dot on the crank is straight up.

You need to rotate the crank a little to the left or the right, and you'll eventually get the dots lined up 100% perfectly
