This is pretty demanding man. Your major bottleneck is that you do not want to change your factory manifolds, that is going to severly limit your gains from installing a cam and in that case bigger is not nessisarily better.

The biggest you will want to go without tuning is going to be in the range of the
TR 224/224 .563/.563 on 114
MTI B1 221/221 .558/.558 on 114

But with an auto both of these may be a stretch, the safest alternative for you would probably be to go with the '02+ Z06 cam. With that cam you could probably see +20-30 RWHP. Reguardless stay with a cam on 114LSA or higher with 224 or less duration.

with stock tuning, try the comp 212/218-.558/.563-115... i think u should get at least a converter, that will get u more gain than a cam alone...

OK, WHY? any of these cams will set a misfire, which will in turn cause your converter to not lock up. If you have a good trans cooler it wont be so bad but if you dont you could risk burning up your trans, running hot and getting pretty poor mileage. Just doesnt make sense in my mind. Red, with an A4 a good converter will get you more than a cam or just about any other mod.

get a good airbox lid, like a TSP, get a cat-back exhaust, and get a tq converter around 3200 with a 2.5str, like a vig 2800, it will feel just like stock after about 5 minutes, and those 3 items will get u ur 12.60's...

Ditto, but skip the catback.

Then if your budget is tight go for some Mac Midlengths and a small cam.

Cam without tuning, stock convertor? Your kidding right?

2800 Vig is the 1st thing Id do with an A4. Drives like its stock and gets you extremely nice gains at the track. What gives?

Dont forgot to use your stock springs and pushrods either

gears and HPP won't gain u much, maybe 1 or 2 tenths at the most, unless u only have 2.73's now... and the pulley maybe 1 more tenth... get a vig 2800, drag radials, and a cut-out, and u'll get a half second in the 1/4 easy...

About the gears, I totally disagree. I think the best mod out there for 1/4 mile times and street fun is to put as much gear in the back as you can drive on the highway comfortably. These cars pickup alot of time from gears alone. As for as the HPP+, no way, save your money for a cut-out and some good drag tires and a bunch of driving.

I second this advise! Eventually though you will want gears, converter, a meduim sized cam with tunning, and headers, in that order.

Guarantee you go with the cutout $40 and a 100shot nitrous $600 youll be mid 12's. Get soem sticky tires too. Then do gears, and stuff or dont.

Cant believe you all skipped the Nitrous Baby?
