Default Cam Retainer Plate Wear

Trying to gauge how serious this issue is. How much wear have you observed and what is the setup (cam/springs/etc.)?

On one of our race engines (LSX block, Jesel beltdrive), every time it came back for a refresh we had to replace the retainer plate. Jesel just started milling our retainer plates for oiling.
