Default 383 Sroker questions

I am going to send my car to Texas Speed in the morning and have them look at it and posibly do a 383 for it. I was wandering for all who have done this do you like it or regret doing it? I already have heads and cam, I added the Yella Terra rockers and lost 15 or 20 rwhp so I am going to let them look at it and probably stroke it. Does anyone have any opinions on doing this pros and cons?
thanks DG

Basically you are spending $2000 extra for a few more horsepower and a lot better area under the curve.

You need to decide whether you want that or not.

Only way i could see losing HP is if:

1) you had 1.8 or 1.85 rockers before and now have 1.7

or

2) you bent a pushrod, or have something just a tad loose to maintain compression.

anyone else???

I am going to install the spacers tonight and see if that helps any I have dynoed it twice and still down close to 20 hp. If I cant get the power back I am going to get the stroker I guess.

You will have torque, torque and more torque. I am still trying to dial in my suspension to get all that power to the ground. I used to be able to hook with Heads/Cam and a 4400 converter on ET Drags.
