In the long run a cam is pretty easy when compared to a turbo/supercharger setup.

You can get a cam kit for under $1,000 and with proper bolt ons will hit 400rwhp.You can eve stick with your stock rear if you learn how to launch from a dig.

You go with a turbo or blower...your looking at $5,500-$7,000 for a kit. Not to mention you need the same bolt ons as the cam anyway. You will also need to lower the compresion to run any decent boost. Then you will for sure need a built trans to put behind it, a good driveshaft behind that, a 9" rear behind that, drag radials at least to make it hook...and your still making that hp on teh stock shortblock which would go soon.

My opinion is...get either a TR224 from Thunder Racing, or a 224R or 228R from Texas Speed(which may be close to you, im not sure) and talk to Texas speed about a tune and install.

You are on the best site when it comes to info, do alot of research and use the search feature. Maybe even talk to Jon, Jason, or Matt at Texas speed and see what they reccomend for your setup. Good luck!

Well I feel pretty convinced now. I will take all of yall's advice into account. I am going to start looking for a cam as soon as I am done with my bolt-on's.
