Default injectors at 97%

mine is a 98 cam only car, has a racetronix intank pump with wiring harness, when it was on a mustang dyno geting tuned my injectors where at 97%. its just a torquer v2. but i also have a ls7 clutch and 9". it does have the 28.8 injectors stock. has 100k on it. that 97% dc sound right?

Yes, that does sound right. You want about 80% max. Maybe time for some SVO 30#s.

reason i was asking is i have a 150 dry shot thre hsw plate and there interface. ill have svo 42's but i was wondering it the 42s would give me more power n/a

You could possibly get more power. My injectors were at like 115%. I put 60lbers in. Way overboard but, now I have alot of room to grow. They were the same price so I said, why not.

FOr a cam only car and having the bigger injectors i think ur DC is a little on the high side.

I don't have any experience with the bottle, but I can't see how bigger injectors would give more power. The correct A/F ratio is the correct A/F ratio. The bigger injectors would prevent your injectors from being maxed out and possibly not being able to deliver enough fuel at high rpms.

i have 42's waiting to get tuned for the n20, i was just wondering if they would have gave my more power n/a. but if there not maxxed out then bigger injectors wouldent make more power

With your nitrous your going to need the bigger injectors.

You probably just have tired or dirty injectors. The only real mod is the cam and that shouldn't put you to that level.

read a post claiming around 7hp for each 1lb of injector as a gain . not sure of the method used to come up with it .

little high cam only...but every car is different...ive got a buddy thats h/ci stage 2 patriot heads moderate can abd a fast 90 and his 28.8s "98" are in the 80% range..another buddies tr224 cam only 98 is running 87%...idk its weird mine are at 91% on a conservative tune it seems to be fine...
im gonna do a regulator and a return shortly ive read that it helps alot...
