G5X-3 thru 5......

Re: G5X-3 thru 5......
We are still working on them. We have a first edition of the G5X-3 in 2 cars, and they did fine. We are going to do a back to back on a cam only car from a G5X-2 package to the G5X-3 package to truly gauge the difference. The G5X-3 is designed to still go right in a stock engine that has not had the heads off with no valve to piston problems. the G5X-4 will be a Fly cut only cam that will require fly cutting in every application.
I don't think people are afraid of fly cutting anymore so we are going to do a cam that will work for those who are willing to do it. Plus with so many Diamond Pistons out there now, plenty of engines already have valve reliefs.
We are testing 3 versions of the G5X-4 in the next couple of weeks, and we have one car with Absolute Speed Heads waiting for one. We have had very good numbers with the Absolute speed heads lately that we recomend them for alot of our customers. ( we still have our LGM heads but they are more expensive ) We are trying to tailor some packages to go with the Absolute speed heads. One car in Long Island just got 456rwhp 411 rwtq with our G5X-2 cam and Absolute heads on a Long Island dyno.
We have a set of LS6 heads from Absolute that must made 451rwhp 415rwtq through the stock Z06 mufflers with our cam.
At any rate, we are doing some cam tests to come up with a good combo that will work. We want to make enough improvment to make the cams worth while. I doubt that we will see the kind of big gains that we came up with before, but with the new FAST manifold coming, that will up the bar also.
hang in there, they are coming soon.
Thanks
