best cam to keep car shifting at 6000

Are there cams out there that make decent power without spinning the crap out of the stock bottom end?

My customer 224 XE-R peaks at 5,900 and is ready to shift ~6,300 just a hair over the stock rev limit which is set ~6250

I don't think that 6300 is spinning the crap out of the bottom end, don't the stock Z06's shift at 6500 or something? It's basically the stock bottom end.

The bottom end is basically the same. The LS6 motors have higher strength rod bolts, but so do the 01+ LS1 motors. There is nothing wrong with shifting an LS1 at 6500 rpm, as long as the valvetrain is stable.

I have gone to 7000rpm just to see how it sounds. And the cam still hold power up there so. And my car has 80k miles on it. I am sure it won't hurt to rev to 6500rpm when racing.

I beg to differ with u. Block itself is different. There is oil passage to main bearing caps amongst other "little" things.
And I didn't say that shifting at 6500 would be a problem for the LS1, as long as your valvetrain can handle it.
