Odd Sound I put a new belt and it has some different cuts, but it works. Now after the screeching sound after a long week of rain and after the new belt, now I hear like a "blower" "turbo" sound from my car. When its idle, you can barely hear it...once the revolutions go high, thats when it gets a little bit louder...sounds like a turbo/blower.....could it be my pulleys? 
mine has a sound kind of like a supercharger or something along those lines at idle as well... especially cold starts...

I've been trying to figure it out for a LONG time... even removed my AIR system because I suspected it was that...
car is running fine, so i've just learned to live with it... not to mention, everytime someone pulls up to me they think i'm supercharged and I just grin at them

1. my resevoir is full
2. it only does it during cold starts... at least that's what it seems...
3. it makes no extra noise when i'm turning
4. i've had my power steering pump "whine" before and it didn't sound like this...
this is more of a whistle sound... i don't think it would be a vacuum leak, since the car seems to be operating just fine... brakes are working good...

lol supercharger Lol my car did that as well... check the idler pulleys take them off, put your finger through it and spin it. if you feel in lumpiness in it theres the culprit. As for a whistling noise check to see you dont have a vacum leak...
